Isaac was abandoned by his father immediately after birth when he discovered that his son had Hydrocephalus. His mother was left alone in the hospital, struggling with medical bills and the uncertainty of raising a child with special needs.
Thankfully, kind-hearted well-wishers who found her in the hospital came to her rescue, cleared her medical bills and helped her get discharged .
However, when Isaac’s mother returned home, she discovered that her husband had moved to another house without informing her, leaving her devastated and alone to face life’s challenges with her sick baby. Someone called vht sent her to HSI and we supported welcomed her our rehabilitation after we sent her to cure hospital for treatment
At the age of six months, he underwent surgery for Hydrocephalus, ETV was implanted in him but sadly, the operation was unsuccessful.
Despite everything he has endured, Isaac continues to find happiness in the little things likes lounging. He loves eating, spending time in his wheelchair, and listening to someone speaking. His story reminds us that every child deserves love, care, dignity, and a chance to experience happiness, regardless of their challenges.

Gavin’s Story: A Journey of Hope and Determination
Gavin, an 18-year-old young man who was born like any other child, loved and cherished by his parents.
When Gavin was just three weeks old, his family noticed that his head was beginning to enlarge. Concerned about his health, his mother took him to the hospital for medical checkups. However, doctors repeatedly told her that there was no water in his head. Despite the continued medical visits, Gavin’s head kept increasing in size, leaving his family with many unanswered questions.
Today, Gavin is 18 years old and continues to pursue his education despite the challenges he faces. He lives with his single mother, who does her best to care for him and his siblings. His brother and sister also support him at home, and together, they continue to navigate the challenges of daily life.
Despite these difficulties, Gavin has not given up on his education or his dreams. He is currently completing Senior Four (S.4) this year, working towards a future filled with hope and opportunity.
Gavin dreams of becoming a doctor when he grows up. It is a dream that reflects his determination to make something meaningful out of his life.

Nadia’s Story: A Voice Full of Dreams
NANTUBWE Nadia, a 14-year-old girl born with hydrocephalus who lives with her loving parents. Despite the challenges she faces, Nadia is a joyful young girl with a passion for music.
Nadia is currently in Primary Four, where she continues to pursue her education while developing her talents. She loves singing and dancing, and she is especially good at singing different songs. Her love for music brings happiness to those around her and reveals a special talent that deserves encouragement and support.
Nadia dreams of becoming a musician when she grows up. She hopes to share her voice with the world, inspire others through her songs, and turn her passion into a successful career.
With love, encouragement, and opportunities to develop her musical abilities, Nadia can continue building her confidence and working towards her dream.

Meet Ronnie Sejuga, born with hydrocephalus and his seven-year-old boy whose life journey began with a lot challenges. His mother abandoned him when he was just two years old, but he found love and care from his stepmother, who adores him for his sweet words and loving nature.
Ronnie is a cheerful child who enjoys singing, eating, and drinking, talking. His sweet words bring happiness to those around him, and his personality makes him special to people around him. Despite the challenges he has experienced at such a young age, Ronnie continues to have hopes and dreams for his future.
One of Ronnie’s greatest dreams is to walk and become the President of Uganda . His dream reflects his hope for a brighter future and his desire to achieve something Amen.
